One credit = $0.025 of service usage.
AI providers measure work in tokens. EZBooks records those tokens and the rate card used, applies a 2× markup, then rounds up to a whole credit.
An answer can use several model calls to read reports and check records. The total includes all returned input, output, and cache usage. Provider costs are estimates until reconciled to the provider invoice.
This calculator uses hypothetical token counts with no cache discount. It illustrates pricing; it does not predict how many tokens your question will need.
Choose a credit limit before asking. The selected amount is reserved, the settled charge is capped at that limit, and unused credits are released. A request needs enough available credits to reserve its limit. No automatic card overages. Purchases remain closed during the beta.
Credits can only be used for EZBooks services. They are not cash, cryptocurrency, a deposit, or a transferable balance. Subscription fees, sales taxes, and credit-pack payments will appear separately from token usage once paid billing is enabled.
